- Mentally:
- Practice self-care
- Read books you’ve been wanting to tick off the list
- Watch documentaries, learn new things.
- Look at articles online
- Write/blog memoirs or stories..get out of your head.
- Sketch/paint/draw…get creative
- Teach your dog new tricks/complete some obedience training with them. Things that you wouldn’t normally have the time for.
- Listen to music and chill
- Meditate
- Listen to podcasts and discussions on other topics- other events and global issues will still be happening out there.
- Have time out- make sure you still have fun and watch pointless TV etc and binge on Netflix shows (if you want to).
- Reflect on your past achievements
- Study and complete online courses/seminars or workshops
- Ask for help if you need it
- Sleep, sleep and sleep some more
- Remember to keep up with your other medications
- Make sure to eat well, keep your body healthy and continue to get your protein in
- Bring back the phone chats- connect with people in old ways and don’t forget to check in with people.
- Cook new recipes and even bake?!
- Connect with people on dating apps, actually give them a chance and invest some time in them…who knows!
- Make sure to continue making future plans and projects you’ve had in your mind for a while.
If you are house bound and can’t work from home there are still plenty of other proactive things you could be doing with your time. You don’t need to become a Netflix slob.
